The Artist
I made my very first custom shoe in 2000.
In 2005, I participated to the very 1st Sneaker custom competition in USA, organized by the magazine SOLE COLLECTOR & NIKE. I won the Boston stage and finished 2nd in the Big Finals of the competion 1 year later in Las Vegas.
In January 2007, I just turned two childood passions, shoes & drawing, into a job and created, ORRAVAN Design SARL. Priceless !
In january 2017, I became a Professional Artist and turned my nickname ORRAVAN into a landmark in the wearable-Art with a high quality work and a distinctive creative direction, on all types of materials products and effects : crystals, leather, suede, painting, engraving, feather...
I've also been the proud partner of major brands & VIP's, as you'll see bellow.
But what matter now is you and your future ORRAVAN creation,

Every footwear creation is handmade, using exclusive technics and according to Expectation, personality and tastes of each client
Making each product intimate and absolutely unique.
For some projects, I also enjoy working with amazing craftsmen, such as Maison LEMARIÉ (Channel Group), Cédric GROLET (pastry World Champion),
or the prestigious SWAROVSKI crystal manufacturer.
These collaborations allows the term of "Haute couture"
For some of the fashion sneakers embellished by ORRAVAN.
For a perfect finish, I can also applies my creative process to
creates linked packaging and accessories.
One’s at this level, it’s not a pair of shoe anymore
it’s a piece of Art.

The ORRAVAN creative direction since 2007 is to transform standard industrial and impersonal items, into original soulful pieces.
Made for the most demanding people, the ORRAVAN creative process is also made to follow the exact desires of specific clients/brands, making each piece nothing but rare and intended to passionate Fashion & Art amateurs.
Far from a traditional sport & urban inspired vision of sneakers the distinctive O.D positioning follow its own direction to new “Sneak-Art” unexplored lands.

In 2005, Steve gave me the opportunity to participate in the 1st national custom contest, in the USA, organized by his Magazine, Sole Collector and Nike.
I won the Boston stage there and finished 2nd (because I was not an American) in the Grand Final of the Competition in August 2006 in Las Vegas.
Without the confidence, the precious encouragement and the impetus of Steve and his team, I would probably never have created ORRAVAN in January 2007.
